    South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) is proposing the following changes the level of Council Tax discount on empty properties and an increase to the Empty Homes Premium (EHP) on properties that are vacant long term.

  4. Electrical Safety Regulations update

    Subject to approval by both Houses of Parliament, landlords and agents will need to ensure electrical installation inspections and testing are carried out for all new tenancies in England from 1st July 2020 or from 1st April 2021 for existing tenancies.
